Parents
What ages are the clubs for?
Our clubs are for Reception to Year 8 (EYFS, KS1, KS2 and KS3). Each club is for particular year groups, and we'll tell you which when you get in touch.
How long is each session?
One hour, straight after the school day, once a week in term time.
How many children are in a club?
No more than 18, so every child gets properly hands-on.
What will my child do?
Hands-on experiments and makes on a different theme each term, such as rockets, chemical reactions, light and sound, electricity and engineering. In most sessions children take home something they've made.
How do I book?
Tell us your child's school using our short form and we'll let you know what's running there and how to book.
How much does it cost and how do I pay?
£11.50 per child per session, booked for the whole term. Payment is taken at the start of each term (terms are 10–12 weeks), by GoCardless Direct Debit or Pay by Bank.
Can my child try it first?
Yes. Register for a free taster session and we'll let you know when one is running at your school. One free session per child, subject to space.
What should my child bring?
A small snack and a drink.
Who collects my child, and how do I pick them up?
Class teachers bring the children to the club at the start. At the end, we hand them over to parents or to the school's after-school club.
What happens if a session is cancelled?
If we cancel a session, you'll be given a lesson credit.
What about allergies and medical needs?
Your child's school shares allergy and medical information with us.
Are your club leaders DBS checked?
Yes, our club leaders hold enhanced DBS checks.
Who is your safeguarding lead?
Alex Hart is our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
